Remarkable 17-inch Notebooks
For those who are in need of a large screen notebook we highly recommend HP’s Pavilion g7-1316dx, which is a best-selling model of the series, and Toshiba’s Satellite C675D-S7109. The two machines are featured with 17-inch displays which make them perfect for photo editing and even for more complex multimedia activities. Despite their reduced storage capacity, these computers remain part of the most hunted products of the series, offering their users a large system memory for multitasking moments and incredible video quality.
For instance, the first model, HP’s Pavilion g7-1316dx, shares a 17.3 inch screen featured with more technologies one of which being Bright View. In addition, the system uses a 1600 x 900 resolution so you can get higher video quality and clarity especially while following favorite channels and watching favorite clips and films. Moreover, the computer comes with a 4 GB system memory, type DDR3 SDRAM, expandable to 8 GB for a better efficiency.
As we mentioned at the beginning of the article, the computer provides a 320 GB hard disk drive where you can store and download plenty of songs, photos and clips. Of course, given the fact that there are plenty of new models featured with huge HDDs, this one might disappoint you. Instead, the system incorporates an AMD Radeon HD 6480G chip as part of the graphics and a video memory that goes up to 2037 MB.
What we also want to remark here is that the notebook is run by an AMD Vision processor part of the A4 series and that the 6-cell Lithium Ion battery goes on for up to six hours if not more, depending on settings. As you probably expected, the system does support Windows 7 operating system and is featured with a wireless tech.
Concerning the second model, Toshiba’s Satellite C675D-S7109, this one also comes with a 17.3 inch screen using a Tru Brite tech and a similar resolution of 1600 x 900 dpi. Just like the previous computer, this mobile machine sustains your multitasking moments with a 4 GB system memory (max. 8 GB) while the HDD develops a 320 GB storage capacity.
Given its large screen, the computer is mainly dedicated to desktop use. Concerning its processor, the system uses an AMD Vision E2 CPU running at 1.3 GHz and the networking is featured with a 10/100 Ethernet LAN and a 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi tech so you can manage your online tasks with some ease. Finally, we add that this efficient Toshiba uses Windows 7 OS from Microsoft.
