HP Compaq CQ60-215DX

Most of you don’t know but HP has made the Compaq notebooks for business purposes. We find quite a large number of HP laptops built for business. HP is one of the largest notebook corporations and it builds quality notebooks which never go to down in specifications. We have previously shown you a couple of Compaq laptops. Let us continue on that line with the HP Compaq CQ60-215DX.

Design

As usual impeccable design follows a HP notebook. This one looks amazingly modern and professional. Using a mono black color for the casing really accentuates the serious feeling on this notebook and will certainly make their owner look better. The notebook is quite big, it has an included number pad to increase the efficiency with which you enter numerical data. The touch pad is also shining glossy, which will make it a lot harder to keep it clean.

Performance

The HP Compaq CQ60-215DX is a good performance business laptop, and as such it is equipped with an AMD Athlon X2 QL-62, The 2.0 GHz clock speed is well enough to make this notebook very fast. From the maximum 4 GB possible you will get a default 2 GB with this notebook. This is quite enough so be glad you have them. The standard 250 GB storage space is provided by a 5400 rpm Hard Disk Drive. The graphics are fairly impressive, but the integrated NVIDIA GeForce 8200M graphics chip won’t produce wonders, so don’t expect to play modern games with maximum graphics. The display is 15.6 inches wide, and it has a very good image quality. The native resolution depth is 1366 x 768, which is just about on the upper limit of resolutions where the human eye can watch a desktop well. The 6 cell lithium battery is not the best we have seen, but it suits its purpose.

Overall

This is a great professional notebook. If you are businessman be certain that this nice tool will come very handy in your business. It has a fairly low price so a very good value.
